Out of curiosity, I searched up Cars games because my son loves all of Lightning McQueen’s adventures. He has a playdough set, 100 or so hot wheels, and a pencil box based on the Disney movies.

His obsession even reached my daughter because she begged me for some hot wheels too. She follows more traditionally female interests like ballet and makeup but occasionally joins the “boy games” as she calls them.

Anyway, this game had it all for us. It is 2 player and has simple enough controls that Vincent and Vivi could drive the cars. It’s a pretty traditional racing game with some Mario Kart play styles and mini games. They loved unlocking different cars and levels. 

It was one of our favorite games so far.
